Dog Bandana Size Guide

This table shows you the sizes of our dog bandanas and suggested breeds.  If in doubt, look at the sizes rather than the breeds as, of course, sizes can vary enormously even within breeds.  If you prefer to see information in a diagram, please scroll down to the bottom of this page.

Extra Small

Cats, Puppies, Chihuahua, Shih Tzu, Yorkie, toy breeds and other similar sized breeds – fits to 20 mm/ ¾” width collar – dimensions are approx 12.5 cm/5” wide x 9.5 cm/3¾” long

Small 

Pekingese, Cairn Terrier, Dachshund, Pug, Jack Russell, Miniature Poodle and other similar sized breeds – fits up to 25 mm/1” width collar – dimensions are approx 15.5 cm/6” wide x 12.5 cm/5” long

Medium

Beagle, Spaniel (Cocker, King Charles), Standard Poodle and other similar sized breeds – fits up to 38 mm/1½” width collar – dimensions are approx 18.5 cm/7¼” wide x 15 cm/6” long

Large

Labrador, Retrievers, Collie, Boxer, Dalmatian, Doberman, Pointer, Weimaraner and other similar sized breeds – fits up to 38 mm/1½”  width collar – dimensions are approx 25.5 cm /10” wide x 19 cm/7½” long

Extra Large

German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, St Bernard, Rottweiler  and other similar sized breeds – fits up to 50 mm/2”  width collar – dimensions are approx 30.5 cm/12” wide x 23.5 cm/9¼” long

 

Attention!

Please exercise caution when buying any over the collar bandana if you have this style of collar. The buckles tend to be much bigger and thicker than the collar itself, which means that they are unlikely to fit through the collar channel for the appropriately sized bandana.
